Drs. Judah and Richard are supported by a team of certified professionals who are passionate about orthodontics. We embrace the uniqueness of each patient and strive to provide courteous, professional service to each individual who enters our office. Our staff is trained and skilled. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontics by attending continuing education programs through the American Association of Orthodontists, Invisalign® and the Damon System.

Position: Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator I joined the Garfinkle Orthodontics team in April of 2008, bringing with me seven years of practice management experience. I feel truly fortunate to have such wonderful people to work with everyday. Doctors, staff and patients make coming to work feel more like a hobby than a job! When you come to our practice you will spend time with me on your first visit as I help guide you into the orthodontic treatment that the Doctor recommends. I was born and raised in Oregon but lived for seven years in Phoenix, AZ before coming back to the Northwest. It is good to be home! My husband, Kris, and I live in Beaverton with our little white schnauzer named Oliver. I enjoy going to the ballet as well as watching and playing tennis. I look forward to meeting you at your first visit and getting to watch your smile transform. |

Position: Financial Coordinator
I joined Garfinkle Orthodontics in June 2010. I've worked in the orthodontic field for 18 years and this is an exciting change for me. I truly enjoy helping our patient families work out just the right financial arrangements - and helping with insurance is actually fun for me! I moved to Oregon in 1974 from San Francisco so I'm almost a native. My husband Frank and I live in Cedar Hills with our two Retreivers Ruby and Charlie. Our children, Alyson and Nick, are grown but live nearby and are frequent guests at the dinner table. I've recently acquired a 'travel bug' and now spend lots of time planning vacations - imagined and real! I am also a 'foodie' and love new recipes and new restaurants. Position: Orthodontic Assistant I started at Garfinkle Orthodontics in September of 2008. I came to the practice with almost two years of orthodontic experience. The best part about working at Garfinkle Orthodontics is feeling like part of a big family. Everyday goes by fast when you work with such nice people! When you come to our office I'll get a chance to know you as I assist the doctor to transform your already wonderful smile into a radiant one. I grew up in Chico, California which is about three hours south of the Oregon border. After graduating high school I moved to San Diego to attend dental assisting school. After a couple of years there, I moved up here to Portland and I don't plan on leaving! I live in Southwest Portland with my boyfriend Joel and our dog Solomon. In my spare time I enjoy photography, biking, and dining out with Joel and my friends. I look forward to welcoming you to the Garfinkle Orthodontics family. |

Position: Orthodontic Assistant Since I was little I pictured myself working in the dental field. I am so grateful to have begun my career at Garfinkle Orthodontics soon after completing my education. It is more rewarding than I ever imagined and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to become a part of. I even took the plunge and got braces myself. Daniel and Mason. I knew very quickly that it was exactly the place for my boys to begin their treatment and the environment I wanted to begin my career in the dental field. I am looking forward to providing the kind of excellent patient care that I would want for my own children. I grew up outside of Austin Texas and moved to the Northwest eleven years ago, living both in San Francisco and Portland. I enjoy spending time outdoors both hiking the Gorge or at the beach with family, friends and my dog Ollie (the Havaneese).
